This genre-blending variety show serves up a glorious buffet of improv, drag, musical comedy, and stand-up, all hosted by the electric chaos gremlin and abuelita himself, AndyCakez. Expect quick-witted improv scenes, dazzling drag performances, songs that might spiral into pure comedic nonsense, and a room buzzing with the kind of laughter that makes your cheeks hurt.
Closing out the night is our headliner, the razor-sharp Lyn-Z Andrews, bringing a stand-up set packed with fearless punchlines and the kind of storytelling that will leave the audience howling.

Kickstart your new year learning a bunch of new skills, meeting amazing new people and have so much fun diving into improv. Yes, and/or you can gift this class to someone special!
This is our entry level class and is for people who have little to no improv experience but also for those who do have experience and may even feel they have a good grasp on improv. We will be start with the essential elements of what makes a good improv scene and expand from there into an introduction of Long-Form and higher concepts. We build the foundation for our entire curriculum as we introduce what makes our improv education so special with active listening, commitment, and finding the main source of comedy that you and your partner agree is driving the scene. We will start you on the path to performing at your highest level!

Friday Night Improv
This is our staple show and the best weekly comedy show in San Antonio. Every Friday evening, a brand new comedy show is made up on the spot by the cast of our house troupe House Party. The show is a variety of acts including short form games like you would see on Wild N’ Out or Whose Line Is It Anyway followed by Long-form sets that can be described as a collection of connected skits or a hilarious improvised narrative play. Guest performances from other improv teams to stand up comics grace our stage often from all over San Antonio, Austin, and all across the country.
